What are upload settings?

Modified on Thu, 12 Oct, 2023 at 11:27 AM

The Upload Settings page is where you can view or change your What is FTP? information and request a new upload filter if your upload format has changed. There are a number of other account settings and preferences that you can change from that page.

Click on Inventory at the top of the page to find the Upload Settings link.  Here are some of the things you can do using that page:

1) Request a new Upload Filter, if you are about to send an upload that is in a different format from your previous upload.

2) Update your upload software, if you are now using a different type of software to produce your book uploads.

3) View your BIBLIO FTP login and change your BIBLIO FTP password. All booksellers listing on BIBLIO automatically have an FTP account set up for uploading inventory updates and book photos. You will be able to view your current FTP username on that page and change your FTP password if that information has been lost, or if you have an automatically generated FTP password and you want to change it to something of your own choosing.

If you want to make changes to your FTP username, please email us at [email protected] and we'll be happy to make the changes you request.

Please note that your FTP username and password are separate from your BiblioDirect bookseller menu log-in. Your bookseller menu login consists of your account email address and your chosen login password.

4) Enable FTP order management. If you would like more information about setting up a Bulk Order Management API, and you do not currently use a service such as Art of Books, Indaba, Basil, or Fillz, please contact us at [email protected] for more information.

Once you have made any changes, be sure to click on "Save".
