We are excited to introduce the forthcoming BIBLIO’s Auction and Book Sales Archive. This archive comprises almost five decades of auction records, meticulously gathered by American Book Prices Current, and is complemented by BIBLIO’s extensive historical sales data. The Auction and Book Sales Archive delivers distinctive and authoritative insights into book values, rarity, and provenance. It serves as a valuable resource for rare book dealers, appraisers, institutions, collectors, and anyone engaged in or passionate about the rare and antiquarian book industry.


What is the relationship between BIBLIO and American Book Prices Current (ABPC)?



In 2024, BIBLIO, in collaboration with the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America, acquired the exclusive rights to ABPC's database. This strategic move aims to uphold and enhance the legacy of furnishing valuable and authoritative insights into the value, scarcity, and provenance of books and manuscripts



Is BIBLIO’s Auction and Book Sales Archive only available to booksellers?


The Auction and Book Sales Archive is open to everyone, including rare book dealers, appraisers, institutions, collectors, and anyone engaged in or intrigued by the rare and antiquarian book industry.



What are the dues for accessing the BIBLIO’s Auction and Book Sales Archive?

What is the cost for members of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America (ABAA)?


As part of our cooperative venture with ABAA, access to the BIBLIO’s Auction and Book Sales Archive is automatically included in your annual ABAA dues. There is no additional charge for access.


How many devices / people from my firm can access the database?

Each license includes one seat, which means one device at a time may access the database. ABAA members get two seats. If you need additional seats, please contact us at [email protected].
