How do I email a book photo to Biblio?

Modified on Mon, 28 Oct at 5:27 PM

You can email your book photos using a smartphone or your regular email account.  If you have a phone, tablet, or another device that you can use to take pictures as well as send emails, then you will be able to do both using one device.  If you don't have one, don't worry!  You can still email us your book photos from any email account.

Step one is to make sure you have your personal BiblioDirect Photo-Upload email address in your email contacts.  To view or change yours, be sure that you are logged into your BiblioDirect bookseller menu, and then click on this link:

There is also a link in your bookseller menu for viewing or changing your personal BiblioDirect Photo-Upload email address.  You will find it under the heading "Other easy options for increasing sales".

Once your Photo-Upload email address is saved in your contacts, take a picture of your book.  Be sure to note your ID number/SKU for the book.  You will need to include that number as the subject of your email.  Send your email to your Photo-Upload email address, with the SKU and ONLY the SKU in the subject line.  Do NOT include the title or other information.  Send your email and the photo should appear with your book within an hour or so.

If you are emailing a photo that you have already taken, simply attach the photo to an email, and send as described above, with your personal BiblioDirect Photo-Upload email address in the "To" field, and your book ID in the subject line.

Booksellers can send multiple photos for one book via email. The subject line should still just be the one inventory number. Attach the photos to your email in the order you want them to appear. The script will take all the photos and assign them all to that book. The photos will be assigned to listings based on the order in which they were attached to the email. Once the images are added, you can alter the order in which they appear by editing the listing using the photo edit tools.
